In honor of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, IT Services is hosting a scavenger hunt across campus. They’ve hidden four QR codes that are accessible by following the steps outlined below. Each week in October, a new QR code will be available to solve.
Students and employees are both encouraged to participate, but prizes will only be awarded to Mountie students.
The riddle for this weeks QR code is:
I stand where travelers come and go,
Watching students park before they go.
I have no wheels, yet I never roam,
And beneath my branches, cars find a home.
A little bump makes drivers slow,
Just a short distance from where I grow.
And nearby, where the quiet rest,
Old names are carved into the earth.
I’ve watched the seasons come and pass,
Seen countless students cross the grass.
I point no way, yet serve as a guide—
Look around the place where cars reside.
