September is Suicide Prevention Month, a time to come together, raise awareness, support one another, and remind our community that every life matters.
Please stop by our Suicide Prevention Awareness Table by the Office of Health and Wellness to take part in a special visual display of support and remembrance. You’ll find different colors of beads representing loved ones we have lost to suicide, individuals we know who are struggling with their mental health, and those who are on a journey of mental health recovery.
You can choose a bead—or beads—that have meaning to you and place them in our community container. As the container fills, it will serve as a visual reminder that we are not alone, our stories matter, and there is strength in supporting one another.
We will also have suicide prevention awareness materials, including items you can wear to show your support throughout Suicide Prevention Month.
💚 Stop by the Office of Health and Wellness all month where the table will be displayed. Add a bead. Wear your support. Start a conversation.
Together, we can help create a community where reaching out for help is encouraged, mental health is talked about openly, and no one has to feel alone.
