The college encourages everyone to place orders through the Support Center for a variety of reasons which include some of the following:
- Comparison pricing on items from multiple vendors
- No PA sales tax – Tax Exemption
- Savings in bulk orders
- and correct delivery directions.
When employees are ordering items on their own please keep in mind that the deliveries are dropped at the Support Center or Men’s House. These orders are being delivered with no direction on who ordered the item or where it is to be delivered. If you must order an item for your department without the assistance of the Support Center or Maintenance Department it would be helpful that you contact these departments about the purchase. Trying to track down the purchaser has been difficult and may result in the orders being sent back.
