Vox Nova Will present “Poetic Harmonies” on Thursday, November 13 at 7:00pm in the Chapel. This concert of choral music is based on the poetry of the Masters: Dickenson, Burns, Longfellow, Whitman and others. This fusion of literary and musical artistry bridges the gap between the written word and melody. The poems allow composers to explore emotional landscapes and thematic depth in their music. The choir is joined by members of the English Department who will offer commentary on the poems and poets.
